Unless otherwise noted below, your purchase may be returned or exchanged within 14 days from the original purchase date, to the original purchaser with the original receipt. The item cannot show signs of wear or be altered from the original condition (sizing, stone changes, etc.,) and must be accompanied with complete original boxes and all warranty papers and booklets intact. All refunds will be refunded in the tender in which they were purchased with, except from cash purchase over $100 will be refunded in the form of a check. All check transactions require a 15-day waiting period. Merchandise given as a gift, gift certificates, or merchandise the customer may wish to return without a receipt will be refunded as in store credit only. All special orders, custom jewelry, consignment jewelry, and completed layaways are not refundable or exchangeable.
SPECIAL ORDERS & CUSTOM WORK
J. Howard Jewelers regrets that special orders and custom items are not returnable and that no refund or exchange can be made. All special orders require a 50%, nonrefundable deposit. A special order constitutes any jewelry, gemstone, watch or gift item ordered or custom altered at the client’s request.
CONSIGNMENT/ ESTATE
All consignment or estate jewelry is final sale, no returns or exchanges. Our consignment jewelry has been inspected prior to case placement, therefore, there is also no warranty on these items.
COLORED DIAMOND & STONE ENHANCEMENT.
Purchasers of colored gemstones and diamonds should be aware that natural gemstones and diamonds are processed from the time they are extracted from the earth by one or more traditionally accepted trade practices. All colored gemstones and diamonds listed on the front of this sales slip have most likely been subjected to a stable and often undetectable enhancement process. Prevailing market values are based on these universally practiced and accepted processes by the gem and jewelry trade. All relevant information will be readily provided to the best of our knowledge.

The diamonds in J. Howard Jewelers pieces have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict in compliance with the United Nations resolutions. J. Howard Jewelers herby guarantees that these diamonds are conflict-free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds.
